Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), also known as Sultan Idris Normal University, was founded in 1922 in Tanjung Malim, Perak, Malaysia. It is a public comprehensive university for teachers. UPSI is committed to bringing change to education by spreading knowledge through teaching and learning, research, publishing, negotiation, and community service in the context of the development of outstanding human capital at home and abroad.

Early on, only four schools offer more than 10 professional, including language institute, school of social science and school of the arts, science and technology college and cognitive science and humanities college, in 2002, the government set up two new college, insead respectively and the institute of information technology and communication, is equipped with a total of six colleges, operates 19 level courses, This increase reflects significant changes to meet academic needs and an increase in student numbers, with nine faculties by 2020, They are the School of Education and Human Development, the School of Science and Mathematics, the School of Management and Economics, the School of Sports Science and Coaching, the School of Music and Performing Arts, the School of Languages and Communications, the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, the School of Technology and Vocational Education, and the School of Arts, Computing and Creative Industries. UPSI offers 54 programs of study (7 Diploma programs, 35 Bachelor of Education programs, 4 Bachelor of Education programs, 8 Bachelor of Education programs), and the Graduate School (IPS) offers 173 research specialties (103 master's programs and 70 doctoral programs).
